Standing Behind the Stage Curtains

I never thought I would be the other woman.

I never thought I would participate in a love triangle.

I love you but more than that I want the best for you.

If she is that best, so be it.

If I am your best (and I hope/pray/believe fiercely that I am}, so be it.

I have never love anyone like I love you.

I am a moth drawn to your candle of sweet surrender.

I crave you and I miss you when we are not together.

I get anxiety waiting to hear from you for my heart and wings have been singed by your flames.

However, you have not disappoint me by staying with her until she is strong enough and woman enough to let you go–you have gained my respect for your kindness.

I love it when you call me pet names–sweetie, baby, boo.

And when you talk dirty to me, I feel like I am your woman and you are my man.

I want the sun, the stars, the moon, the sky and

I want you.

Today I had the pleasure of speaking to Iyaz, a T-mobile customer representative, who shared these wonderful words:

“Be grateful, not greedy.”

Because we had a wonderful conversation about muscle cars and life, he felt blessed and that I made his day. He gave me $20 discount towards my telephone bill. Isn’t GOD amazing when HE orchestrates such events?

I started journal writing a long time ago as a child, it was a means of introspection on the day and what went wrong and what could have been better. In earlier days, since my mom used to read it, I purposefully used to write all good things to impress her (I am sure she saw right through it!!). Anyways I didn’t realise the importance of writing things down then, but as I grew up, writing meant a whole new…

There is no more I can do, well more like willing to do. I’m sorry, I have one life and so do you. Everybody in the world is going through something, the unfortunate reality is, some of us can handle it, some of us can’t. I’m determined to be one that can, which means sacrifice of everything. Casualties of war. Some will make it some won’t, just make sure if you don’t, it’s not because of another. Loyalty is always great if it doesn’t jeopardize the most important thing of all, your peace~~Darnell LeTimothy
